Around the same time, Shelton’s ex-wife, Miranda Lambert, met musician Anderson East, and they fell in love.
For months, there have been rumors swirling around claiming that both couples will get engaged soon.
It was recently revealed that The Voice coaches are the perfect blended family.
The No Doubt diva’s three boys – Kingston, 11, Zuma, 8, and Apollo, three – have been camping, fishing, and learning to play the guitar with Shelton.
The little clan has been spending a lot of time in Oklahoma and Stefani has fallen in love with the beauty of the rustic state.
However, while all looks perfect, a source said they are not ready to get married yet.
The insider stated that they might never walk down the aisle because they are happy with their boyfriend/girlfriend status.
The source said: “Blake and Gwen love each other, and they have so much in common with each other. They laugh all the time, and they are pretty much perfect for each other. So, when others bring up the topic of marriage and engagements to them, it is not too important to them. Marriage is never frowned upon by the couple. But, sometimes more than not, it is not of the utmost importance. In their eyes, they have it all. Gwen and Blake think that they already have it made and they do not feel like a piece of paper will enhance that in any way.”
The person added that it could happen, but there is no timeline.
According to HollywoodLife: “This is not to say that they will never get married. But, it is just the thought process they usually find themselves in when it is brought up.”
As for East and Lambert, a source has confirmed that the engagement is set for this year.
The insider told E! News that the lovebirds are hoping to start a family soon, but they are eager to become husband and wife first.
The person with knowledge of the story revealed: “They understand each other on a deeper level. Miranda feels every day like the luckiest girl. They would like to have children once they get married. This has been shared and discussed between them.”
